Bio:-

Yuri Quintana, Ph.D., FACMI, FIAHSI is Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is an internationally recognized leader in digital health, AI in healthcare, and global health informatics, with over two decades of experience designing technologies that empower patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Dr. Quintana’s research focuses on learning health systems, AI-driven collaboration platforms, and digital tools for patient engagement and care coordination. He leads the development of Alicanto, a global cloud platform for professional learning, collaboration, and virtual consultations, and InfoSAGE, a family-centered system for home-based care coordination and medication management. His projects have advanced digital mental health evaluation, serious games for health, and AI-enabled clinical decision support.

He also leads the DCI Network, a consortium of private sector and non-profit organizations, healthcare providers, leading academics, patients, and thought leaders committed to developing scalable AI-powered solutions for healthcare. The Network’s initiatives focus on AI governance, patient-centered design, and building interoperable systems that accelerate clinical innovation while ensuring safety, equity, and trust.

Previously, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, he created Cure4Kids and POND4Kids, used by tens of thousands of clinicians in over 180 countries to improve pediatric cancer outcomes. Earlier, he contributed to Canada’s HealNet Research Network, applying evidence-based methods to improve consumer health behavior.

Trained as an engineer at the University of Waterloo, Dr. Quintana combines deep technical expertise with visionary leadership in AI for healthcare, telehealth, mobile health, and real-world data integration. His work continues to shape global standards in precision medicine, digital health equity, and learning health networks.
